Bio

Yoroi Nicolas is a French nawashi (Rope Artiste) and SM player. Born (1978) in the South of France, I grew up in the North, in the city of Mantes La jolie. Student of Arisue Go, under the advice of many artists (such as painters, theater actors, photographers… ) and with a lot of personal research. I develop year after year an understanding of Kinbaku (The Japanese Way to tie people up).

From my experience I’m able to provide you with shows, lessons, workshops which are part of human story.

[Shibari – kinbaku - Origin ]
I developed a taste for ropes since my childhood. But I discovered the art of bondage around the age of 20 and started to tie up my girlfriends around 22.

I was introduced to « Sensei Arisue Go » in octobre 2008, and took my first lesson from him. It was like a revelation. The way he teaches, the way he practices Shibari… Everything made deep feeling about the thing he does. I remember some of the first words I heard from him were “Shibari should be a practice like other japanese « dō » , like ikebana.”.
